The Work

What you'll be doing

Lead a crew installing storm, sanitary, and water on active sites
Set the daily plan, stage material, and keep the crew ahead of the schedule
Own trench safety as the competent person on site
Coordinate with inspectors, testing labs, and the GC's superintendent
Track quantities, as-built information, and daily reports

Requirements

What you need

5+ years in wet utilities, including time leading a crew
Trench safety competent-person qualification (or willing to obtain)
Able to read civil plans, profiles, and utility specs
Valid driver's license and clean driving record

A Plus

Helps, not required

OSHA 30
Experience with municipal acceptance and closeout documentation
Grading experience in addition to utilities
